Since 2022, Maxime Crozier has been cultivating several varieties of hemp (CBD and CBG) in open fields, using organic farming methods and under the Ardèche sun!
Valvi Chanvre oversees the entire production process and places great importance on the quality of the plants I harvest by hand. As hemp production complements my wine making business, I have made a quality-driven decision to keep production small-scale—cultivating an area of less than 1,000 m²—befitting my role as a farmer deeply rooted in the local area.
Valvi Chanvre is committed to complete traceability from seed to finished product. Each production variety undergoes full annual analysis by a French laboratory, guaranteeing a high-quality, organic, and local product.

Hemp cultivation combines my agricultural skills with my desire to contribute a natural “wellness” solution for a range of ailments—such as sleep difficulties, pain, and stress.
A winegrower affiliated with a cooperative winery since 2016, having taken over the family farm, I decided to diversify my operations by developing hemp production after facing various weather-related setbacks.
As a member of the French Association of Cannabinoid Producers (AFPC), I stay fully informed about developments in the regulatory framework.
